Position title
Modeling and Simulation Engineer

Gloyer-Taylor Laboratories (GTL) is a growing Aerospace Engineering company developing a range of technologies including high-performance liquid hydrogen storage systems which will enable a new class of aircraft and rocket systems.

GTL is looking to fill Engineer I or II positions to support the modeling and simulation group.  Potential candidates would engage in a variety of analytical and numerical modeling tasks related to propulsion, aerodynamics, heat transfer, thermo-fluids, structures, and other aerospace systems. Since GTL offers such a diverse line of products and services, candidates are expected to be flexible and comfortable balancing multiple assignments with the varying subject matter. They must be self-motivated and able to perform with minimal supervision. Applicants must show competence in one or more programming languages with the expectation of becoming proficient in Python and C++.  Communication skills and a strong background in engineering-mathematics are a must.  Experience with commercial and/or open-source computational fluid dynamics is a bonus. Cross-over with experimental work or product development may occur as needed.  Work includes exposure to export restricted materials and may require security clearance eligibility. Work eligibility confirmed by E-Verify. All job offers will be contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.
